Centro Capital Centre By Rotana

This area of town is definitely more for the business traveller, which suited my trip as I wanted to be close to the exhibition centre and the private jet airport. It is also central , so I was 20 minutes from downtown, 25 minutes from Yas in a taxi. There are always taxi's outside , two grocery shops in walking distance and an alcohol shop just 2 minutes walk at the side of the hotel. The rooms are well appointed and the staff are always keen to help. There were a few movie/ English speaking channels on the TV. The instructions for the safe did not match the actual safe in the room so I didn't bother but if you have valuables I would suggest you get the staff to show you how to work it. The only downside for me was the smoking on the bar- I am from the UK where smoking indoors has been against the law for so long I had forgotten how awful it is. They do have some non smoking tables , but that doesn't stop the smell drifting over, Happy hour goes on all evening and the wine is excellent for only 20DHM a glass compared to the full price wine list. I didn't use the restaurant , so have no opinion, the once I had room service it was good as was the once I used the bar I had some snacks. There is a Starbucks in the hotel which also serves hot food. For the price and business location I would stay there again, if I wanted to be by the beach and have a 'resort' type holiday feel I would choose somewhere else. The pool area is small and limited options.

Everything about our stay was excellent! The breakfast was superb with a great variety to choose from. The cleanliness of the place really stood out, and the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming stay.

Staff members have been amazingly supportive, but I think they have too much on their plate. The very first staff member who exceptionally handled my booking was Redhouwane. Always helped with everything whenever on duty since Day 1. Alex and Khalifa have also been absolutely supportive and entertained every single request I have had throughout my stay. It is great to have such dedicated staff members such as the three of them. What an amazing job selecting such crew! I bet the other team members do such a great job too. I'm also super impressed with the housekeeping staff, I believe the lady that cleaned my room on Level 18 is called Manika. She is super fast and does her job meticulously!

Breakfast was very good Dinner was also very good The pool was nice and the gym was ok (despite the strong smell) The staff were very friendly, we got 2 bottles of water everyday The whole building was clean The price was nice for what you get It's 2 mins walk to the convention center and there are taxis right outside the lobby 24/7
